UK-wide recovery · Written terms before work begins enquiries@upfront.legal  ·  Refer an account

Enforce what you're owed. Keep all of it.

Upfront Legal recovers money owed to UK businesses. When your debt is recovered, you receive 100% of it — no commission is deducted from recovered principal. Refer the account, and the chasing, the pressure and the escalation become our job.

100%

How you keep 100%

Most collection quietly shrinks what you're owed — a percentage comes off everything recovered. We don't work that way. No Upfront Legal commission is deducted from recovered principal: your £10,000 debt recovered is £10,000 to you. Where the law allows, recovery charges are pursued from the debtor, not taken from you. Our commercial terms are agreed privately, in writing, before any work begins.

Recovery services

Commercial debt recovery

Unpaid invoices, running accounts and contract sums owed by other businesses — with the interest, compensation and recovery costs the law adds on eligible accounts claimed as standard, so delay costs the debtor.

Consumer trade debt recovery

Unpaid invoices, fees and arrears owed by individual customers, recovered firmly and within the rules that apply to them.

Judgment enforcement

A judgment the debtor treats as optional isn't the end. Enforcement is organised and driven until it produces money or a clear answer.

Late payment interest & compensation

Statutory interest and fixed compensation on qualifying B2B debts, calculated invoice by invoice and added to the demand.

  1. A verdict within one working day

The account is assessed on its evidence and the debtor's position. You get a straight written answer: what it's worth pursuing, on what terms — including "don't", when that's the truth.

  2. The debtor deals with us

From instruction, correspondence, proposals and disputes come to Upfront Legal. You stop chasing.

  3. The account is run, not just chased

Structured written pursuit, payment plans agreed within your authority, payments monitored and reconciled, and the money remitted to you with an itemised statement.

  4. You keep the decisions

Settlements, escalation and spending are approved by you, with the costs in writing first. Everything else is handled.

As far as it takes

A debtor who ignores a valid demand leaves interest running and every escalation option open — and escalation here is real. Where an account justifies it, court proceedings are brought and enforcement — warrants of control, attachment of earnings, charging orders — is carried out by the appropriately authorised professionals and officers those steps belong to, with the costs schedule in front of you before anything is committed. Court is a tool, not a threat: it's used when it's the right commercial answer, and you'll be told plainly when it isn't.
